[Hi barge, someone looks grumpy today. Probably has to do with the fact that he's apparently been asleep for over two weeks.]
For the record? I'm blaming space. And the fact that we're in a ship that doesn't work by any version of logic piloted by a guy who, let's face it, doesn't actually know how to sail a multidimensional spaceship. You could put a monkey in a hat and he'd be a better Admiral than this guy. Because. Uh. Comas don't just happen out of the blue, and who knows what kind of alien radiation we're all getting hit with. [... Yeah he's just really annoyed about this.
Still, he's just kind of rubbing a hand against his temple and the side of his head for a second, brow furrowed, before gesturing vaguely at the communicator.] So what have I missed, who's gone and who's new and how many crash landings did I sleep through?
[Private to the Assvengers]
Apparently comas contagious, so prolonged exposure to Captain Beauty Sleep should be monitored. [Tony speak for "Hey guys I'm back you totally missed me don't even lie."] Who's killed who and tell me no one touched the helmet.
[Private to Charles]
I want to start a barge robotics club. [Hi, sorry for worrying you, still alive, hope you didn't do anything weird with my body in the meantime. Not that I'd blame you because uh, perfect male specimen right here.]

Good to know I'm needed to keep you guys from turning into homicidal assholes. [Tony speak for NATASHA. WHAT EVEN HAPPENED.]
[Private]
What?
[Private]
Also Natasha is probably the most stable out of all of them, excluding Captain Concernicus and he's sure as hell not confiding in the guy who'll go and try to give Bruce a hug and recite patriotic, inspiration poems or something.]
Homicidal assholes. Apparently there are more than you and Clint on the team. Although, mm, it might have been the boiler room or the blow job dog suit guy or whatever the hell it was, but still.

And she's silent for a long moment just trying to put that image out of her head, jesus christ, but also trying to work out what he means. He has to be talking about Cap or Bruce - and if Steve had done something, she thinks she'd have heard about it by now, or noticed, and if she thinks hard she can almost remember the ground shaking--]
What did Banner do?
[Private]
But here? He has no one. No one he's actually chosen to trust, to confide in. No one he trusts and no one who's actually, actively tried to earn it, or even really proven themselves. At least, not that they remember. But if you have no one to talk to, no one to confide in, no one around you to trust, you'll go insane. Tony knows that, as much as he refuses to fully admit it. But there are some things, just some things that even he can't start to comprehend on his own, and while he knows Natasha is a spy, is meant to weedle information out of even the toughest, most in control people (he remembers Loki, remembers how she'd cracked him, remembers being briefed on the call she'd put in to Fury just before everything went to hell) and he knows he shouldn't trust a spy.
But at the same time, he's known her longer than anyone else on this ship. He knows she'd have his back in a fight even if she didn't, yet. So really, who else is there?
Which is why, after a moment of staring at Natasha, weighing the pros and cons, debating the benefits and fallbacks of admitting this, of breaking a trust he's been granted, he's just screwing his eyes shut, rubbing against his forehead before waving it in the air in an absent gesture.]
The flood- port- whatever the hell it was. Last one, the one everyone's lost it about. The whole hotel wanting to eat the inmates thing.
Apparently it got to him more than it got to the rest of you. [And he doesn't know what the hell to do with that information.]
