[Hey guys. Hey. Guys. Was Tony kickass in that Port or what? Yeah, that's right. He was.
And he is totally lording it over all of your heads for the rest of time.]
So, uh, for the record. We should probably have some sort of actual sane plan for situations like that. Like. The Bargites Guide to Surviving Alien Kidnappings. First chapter: Listen to the Locals and Don't Rush the Aliens.
[And, almost as an afterthought:]
And in case anyone knew her, Pepper Potts went home.

She huffs out a sigh and pushes some stray hair from her face.]
You'd be daft if you said you didn't deserve that.
[She'd do it again if given the chance, really.]
Slapping wouldn't have gotten the point through to you.

I'm sure he's thankful it didn't have to come to that.
action/video
Probably. He'd have ended up through a wall.

I have no doubt about that.

Go away, Steve.]

Remind me to buy you a drink, next opportunity.

She glances down and offers a slight smile.]
The offer is appreciated.

I'm sure eventually he'll build a better filter for his mouth.

We can only hope... Eventually.

You have officially lost your last brownie points.

[God he turns into a grumbly teenaged girl when drunk, depressed, and just sucker punched.
He will fully maintain that everyone else in the world would as well.
Except Natasha. Because she's terrifying and the jury's still out on if she's actually human or just some curved out android.]

You could not have predicted just how far his lack of tact would allow him to go. I appreciate the sentiment all the same, however.

[Just fuck everything okay.]

video
Yeah, sorry Charles. You don't actually have a say in what I do right now.
[Which... is literally going to just be crawling back to his bed after stumbling around to get ice because damnit Peggy could punch...
... and then probably passing out for a day.]

Thank you, Sergeant.

My pleasure, Agent Carter.

action
His jaw is kind of red where Peggy'd hit him, and he's pretty sure he can taste blood where the edge of his tooth caught on his cheek, but hey. He's had worse.
Doesn't mean his pride isn't wounded, though.]
I didn't deserve that. [He has to push and prod, to scowl and repeat the words and try for a smirk, only to fall terribly flat, to let his head fall back against the wall behind him as he narrows his eyes up at the woman above him] I probably would have kicked myself in the nuts, too. So thanks.
[Which, in Tony speak, is the closest thing to a "wow I'm a dick, let's try and forget this ever happened" that Peggy will ever get.
He's normally not this out of control. It's kind of... well. Annoying, to say the least. It's also making his chest ache to even start to comprehend just how much Pepper leaving was hitting him. But hey, whatever. He'll distract people with his dick.....ish ways instead. Even if it ruins his reputation for all time.]
action
She's nearly ready to punch him again after he said that wasn't deserved, but as luck would have it, he cleared that up quickly. She considers him for another long moment before she shrugs.]
That's not something I'm in the habit of going up to men and doing, so you needn't worry about that.
[She narrows her eyes right back at him.]
What you said, Mr. Stark, was completely out of line and uncalled for. Be assured that if something like this ever happens again, I will not hesitate to repeat what just happened. Are we understood?
