6th Command; Video

[Given what's happened lately? Tony's looking even more sleep deprived as usual. And more than a little fed up with... well, with just about everything]

Few things, ship.

One: The food here is crap, and I want a cleaning service. Or a car. Or both.

Two: I think I kind of promised someone a particle accelerator. I claim time extension rights considering my first port and a goddamn flood.

Which brings us to three. Sorry kids, bed offers expired.

Pretty sure you guys have been told about me. But I'm kind of a big deal in engineering, robotics, and math.

So here to serve or whatever.

[Private to Charles]
I need you to back me up. I'll trade ignoring your trigger happy friend for it.

Basically, I need spare arc reactors. And I need to build them, and have people not know what the hell they actually are. And since I'm an inmate that's probably gonna require your word that they're not some sort of bomb.

[Private to Steve]
Do I need to tell you to shut up about the arc reactor, or is that kind of a given?

If you're sure. [It's legitimate, even if they were able to construct a secure location for it. Even the most sophisticated locks could be picked if you were interested enough.]

I'll try to stay out of your mind unless it's a crisis or otherwise necessary. But that's entirely feasible, I've done it before, and it shouldn't be too complicated to establish in a port even at a distance as long as my abilities aren't somehow restricted by the world we're visiting. [Which... happened a lot more than Charles was even remotely comfortable with, but oh well. No use focusing on that now.

He does smile a little before clarifying.]
And I'm not technically a psychic, I'm just a telepath. I can't predict the future any more than you can.
wedonot: (These keywords are laughably bad.)

[Charles just smiles a little at that, because while he's sure Tony could push his buttons enough to make him back off - he's already seen that in action a few times, after all, and Tony's got plenty of ammunition between Erik and the wheelchair - he's also fairly confident in his ability to convince Tony he's a very musically talented chicken.

... Not that he'd ever abuse his powers like that, why would you suggest it.]

I think hypnosis would sort of undermine what we're actually trying to do, here.
